Peyton singing "Popcorn Popping"

Random Fun...

Here are a few things that have happened in the last few weeks.
Peyton refused to go down for a nap earlier in the day. He wanted cereal for dinner so I gave him some and this is what I found when I checked on him. He slept in there for about 45 minutes.
Grandpa Ken and Grandma Cindy moved out of their house and they found some old Halloween costumes and asked if we wanted them. Peyton loved the cowboy hat. I just love his cheesy smile in this picture.
After church a couple weeks ago Peyton decided to put my shoes on and walk around the house. I thought it was really funny but Jeff kept telling him to take them off.

On February 20, 2010 our nephew Daxson Paul Benedict was born. He weighed 9lbs 8 oz and was 21 1/2 inches long. He has been in the nicu for a few days because he got an infection. I was able to go down with Melissa to see him.
Me holding him and trying not to get in the way of all the cords coming off his body.
Just look at those chubby cheeks!
Melissa and I were visiting Daxson in the nicu for about an hour and Jeff was with Peyton and his sister Katy up in the room . This is what Peyton looked like when I got back upstairs.

Poor Paris! :(

Last night we looked at Paris and noticed she had a swollen cheek. I had no idea what it could be so we decided to go to bed and see how it looked in the morning...

This is what it looked like before we went to bed and.....

this is what it looked like when we woke up.
Needless to say I called the vet and got right in. They took an x-ray and said she had an abscessed tooth and they would need to extract it. After I called Jeff and discussed how ridiculously expensive it is I decided to have them do it. She feels much better now and hopefully she won't stay swollen for much longer.

This is a random picture but I love when Peyton does this face. He pushes his cheeks together and says "Squish" in a really cute high pitched voice.

Fun in the SNOW!

The other day we went to Grandma Julie's house and decided to build a snowman. Peyton hasn't ever played in the snow before so he wasn't to sure about walking around in it but he had a fun time. He wouldn't let me put gloves on him because he won't separate from him trains.

Meg is so cute with Peyton.

All of us. (Will, Jessica, Meg and Peyton) Will found some coal off the street for his eye's and buttons (at least that's what he said it was). :)

Christmas!!!

Christmas is always a very busy but fun filled day! When we first came downstairs Peyton didn't really know what to do. He walked up to one of his toys and then looked back at me to sick down so he could sit on my lap. He wanted to play with every present he opened right when he got it so sometimes he would get mad when we would try to take it away to open another one. Overall we had a great day visiting all of our families!!!

Christmas Morning!

The classic sitting on the stairs photo.

This is an example of us doing something Peyton didn't want to do.

Jeff with his new jacket.

Me with my new snuggie!!!

Jeff surprised me with a new camera! Yay!

Peyton and I went to "Color Me Mine" and Peyton made this I Love Dad mug. I let him do it all by himself and you can definitely tell but I LOVE it!

This is the back and there is a hand-print.

Will, Peyton and Meg waiting to come downstairs at Grandma Julie's.

Peyton's cousin Aaron's first Christmas! Hopefully next Christmas Peyton will want to play with Aaron and not always beat him up!

San Diego

About two weeks ago we we took a trip down to visit Marianne/Nick and Scott/Dre in Arizona. I don't have any pictures of when we were at their house but we had a lot of fun just hanging out. When we first got to Arizona Jeff, Marianne, Peyton, Aaron and I drove down to visit our friends Liz and Steve in El Centro California. It was so much to finally see them and where they are living. We went to San Diego and played on the beach one of the days and it was a lot of fun!

We all noticed Mason and Peyton were really quiet in the other room so we went to check on them...

...this was the result!

I'm sure they will love this picture some day. :)

The trip to Arizona and California was so much fun!! Hopefully we can do it again sometime soon!

Ginger Bread House!

My mother-in-law Terri gave us a Ginger Bread House kit last night so we decided to put it all together. It was a lot of fun!!! The first thing Peyton did when I took it all out of the box was grab the tree and take a bite.

Thanks Grandma Terri for the Ginger Bread House!!!

Peyton loves to come down in the mornings and light our count down candle. He sits and watches the whole time. Sometimes he blows it out before it is time and he points at the lighter and says "on" .

I sure love this kid!

Halloween!!!

The day before Halloween we carved our pumpkins and Peyton loved to take the lids off and look at the candle inside.

Peyton was really excited about the pumpkins.

Jeff carved the middle one.

I carved mine on the right and Peyton's on the left.

Here are some pictures I took of Peyton in our backyard.

This year was Peyton's first year Trick-or-Treating. He had so much fun and caught on really quick. We went with Jeff's sister Melissa and our niece Halli.

After we were done Trick-or-Treating we went to all the Grandparents houses so they could see Peyton.... it was a great night.
