Bee's Game

Jeff's step-dad got tickets to a bee's game through his work and invited me, Jeff and Peyton to go with him, Jeff's mom and our niece Halli. We had so much fun, it was Peyton's very first baseball game. He was such a good boy the whole time we were there and was so curious about everything around him.

Blessing Day

Today was Peyton's blessing day and it has been such a good day. Both mine and Jeff's family came to our house for the blessing and Jeff did such a good job. After the blessing we ate some lunch. It was so much fun to have everyone there for Peytons special day.

My new life

I have been kind of a slacker at doing my blog recently, but it's because I have been so busy taking care of Peyton. I never expected how hard being a mom really is and that you really are always taking care of the baby and never yourself. I don't know how people have more than one kid. Anyways the past six weeks have been some of the best ever. Everyday Peyton is doing something new and those times he smiles at me makes up for those sleepless nights. Well not much else has been going on, just the normal everyday mom stuff.

This past week has been a little hectic. As you can see Peyton was born this past Tuesday. On Tuesday morning I had a doctors appointment. We were going to decide what our next plan of action would be. As I was getting ready for the appointment I received a phone call. It was the doctors office saying that my doctor had resigned and that another doctor would be taking over my care (keep in mind that I was four days overdue). I was completly shocked. Thankfully I was able to speak with the other doctor and explain to him our situation and he decided to induce me later that day. Thank goodness! In a few hours we were off to the hospital. A long six hours later little Peyton was born. He has lots of hair and he looks a lot like his daddy. He is beautiful.

IN THE LIFE

So I am still waiting for baby Peyton to be born. I know my due date is not until tomorrow (3/7/08) but I am very anxious. I think deep down I thought I was going to come early but I know now I probably will be a week late. So something new I have started while waiting is put my wedding album together. It has taken me 4 1/2 years to do so I thought this is as good as any time to do it. Jeff's mom gave me this website called www.heritagemakers.com to do a scrapbook online. That is for sure the only way I can scrapbook. Marianne definitly got the scrapbooking genes. Anyways that is the fun project I am working while waiting for little Peyton to come into this world.

My sister Marianne is also coming in to town tomorrow (3/7/08) to visit and see the baby. I am way excited! Hopefully Peyton will be kind enough to show up when she is here so she can actually see him in real life and not just pictures. Well, when the "birth" day finally comes I will let everyone know.
